What Are You Reading?

It's that time of the year when people try to get into reading. What are the books you've gathered to read this summer? I have read Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander Series," yes all seven of them and I'm awaiting number eight coming out this June. I have also read "The Fault in our Stars" by John Green and Veronica Roth's Divergent series. These are incredible reads that were recommended to me by reliable sources so I was sure I wasn't going to waste my time.

Next in line of "books to read" are "Flowers in the Attic" by V.C. Andrews; "Paris" by Edward Rutherfurd; and "Ruby" by Cynthia Bond. I read somewhere that "Flowers in the Attic" has been banned from some school libraries because of some explicit materials it contains. I'll read it anyway. "Paris" is said to contain compelling stories about the city in ways you wouldn't expect. Can't wait. "Ruby" is an intense story that I wouldn't want to miss as an avid seeker of outstanding written stories. My interest is peaked.

This is my current list at this point in time, which is subject to change as I go to book stores, or libraries, or yard sales. Have fun expanding your intellect, because I will.
