Sexy But Effortlessly Comfortable

The trend these days with party and club outfits always ends up defeating the purpose of partying and clubbing in the first place. I'm aware that attending these functions require dressing to impress but I
see a lot of "dressing for jeers." The outfits are sometimes, unattractive and other times feel uncomfortable for the dresser in question. Why wear something that stops you from having fun? I'm not saying you should dress matronly. This is how I see it.

Ditch matronly; go for perfect fit
Ditch overly busy patterns; go for uniform print
Ditch cut-offs that expose too much skin and make underwear impossible to hide; go for minimal cut-offs that show skin without exposing unwanted material
Ditch lengths that would make sitting, dancing, squatting, and bending impossible; go for length that makes you do all of the above and more
Ditch oversize toe-numbing heels; go for right fit with slight room for large toes
Minimal jewelry is advised if you intend on jumping and wiggling on the dance floor.

Have fun!

Welcome Back Jelly

Soft, flexible, colorful, and candy-like - These words describe a type of shoe that used to be in vogue over ten years ago. The Jelly has made a comeback. I was one of those kids who dreamed of owning a pair, navy
blue with glitter to be exact. I had seen a friend of mine wearing the pink color. When I accompanied my mom to the shoe market to purchase a pair of school sandals, I saw the navy blue colored Jelly shoe and instantly fell in love with it. Unfortunately, she didn't buy it for me. I thought it was the loveliest rubber shoes I'd ever seen. The ones with the block heels looked really good with short outfits. I must say when I saw an almost identical pair last month, my girly excitement went haywire. This is one comeback that I'm happy to see. One can dress up a Jelly sandal or dress them down casually with dresses, shorts and skirts or make a look pop by wearing a bright colored Jelly sandals with neutrals.
