Looking Forward

2014, a memorable year it will be for many. There were good and bad moments; sadly the bad moments were publicized more. 2014 presented growth for some and downfall for others. What happened? Some are still lamenting. I'm glad that some people found the strength to be vocal about aspects of life that mattered to them. 2014 to me, was an expressive year for many. Fads and trends came but some became more than they were perceived to be. 2014 was a bold year that harbored some viciousness that I pray will dissolve as the new year unfolds.

While I do not have any new year resolutions, I have hopes and dreams.

I hope to become limitless in my creative abilities and never second-guess myself. I hope that the Spiritual growth I recognized in 2014 will not become stunted but continue to be fruitful. I hope to be a better person. I hope to live and flourish in a better world.

With these awesome words of advice from Jack Canfield below, I hope you look forward to 2015 with self-appreciation:

"By taking the time to stop and appreciate who you are and what you've achieved - and perhaps learned through a few mistakes, stumbles and losses - you actually can enhance everything about you. Self-acknowledgment and appreciation are what gives you the insights and awareness to move forward toward higher goals and accomplishments."

Happy New Year!
